Bucket Detective is a dark comedy/horror game in which you complete a cult ritual in exchange for help finishing your novel. It is an interactive storytelling game about blind ambition. In it, the player is pushed to see how much they will sacrifice to achieve their goals. The game was released on Steam, has been viewed 500,000+ times on YouTube, and has been covered by Waypoint, PC Gamer, Unwinnable, Gearbox, IndieGames.com, Tech Geeks, South China Morning Post, and more.
My duties were the following:
- Writing and doing narrative design for the levels and quests.
- Writing and directing the in-game cinematics.
- Directing actors in recording voice over narration for in-game dialogue and cinematics.
